Can I use a 6646 Trafo to power a loco which has a 6080 decoder installed?

In Sunny Florida most of the time.
Marklin, Trix Express, Trix Twin, Fleischmann, Liliput, Hornby Dublo, and Others, 2 & 3 Rail, AC, DC and Digital, Course Scale Wheels & Fine, 1935 to 1960s usually.

Yes, grey transformers like the 6646 should be safe for all decoders.

6080 decoders are old and robust. Decoders without DIP switches made 2004 and later can take harm if the transformer is old and for 110 V and not 120 V as the modern ones.
