I updated my CS 2 from software 3.3 to software 3.6. I now get this message when the CS 2 finishes start up?

Anyone else experience overload situation has occurred on channel Volt on device Central Station 2. Eliminate the cause or check power supply settings.

I have disconnected the track feed lines and the problem still exists.

Anyone else experience this issue?

Hello Arthur
The present update version for the CS2 is (I think) 4.3.0(11) so I suppose your issue is you left the CS2 with its old version for quite a long time and now to wish to jump a large number of updates.
I remember that around V3.6.2 (2) (May 2014) the bootloader was changed by Märklin and so you had to have multiple reboots The screen was asking to accept a reboot, continue, etc and push start multiple times. It was quite so time ago so my memory may be playing trick to me.
You have 2 methods to update, one is with the CS2 connected to internet while the other one is by using a USB memory stick loaded with the software.
Have you tried both methods?
You probably must be more precise with the displayed screen Taking a picture / screen copy would be excellent
At the end of this message I include the changelog about 3.6
I have the full changelog but in word format that is not accepted by this forum I think.

Cheers
Jean

I have some how fixed my CS2. I see it was upgrading to software 4.3.0. when the problem started. I found a menu were you can select different power supplies. I switched to different ones. I think it was on 60101 at the beginning. After switching my voltage problem persisted. I tried another software update via network and USB. The voltage fault message then seemed to not return. I connected the CS2 to my programming track and was able to run an old loco. I then moved it to my layout were it seems to be working fine?
