I think the dipswitches are in the tender, but I cannot see any screws holding the tender together, do any of you know how to access them? I looked at the exploded diagram, but couldn't find the tender.

Use a screwdriver, preferable a plastic type so you do not put marks on the plastic shell, and pop the shell up. As you are doing this, you might see 2 notches on each side that is molded with notches to hold on to the chassis. The exploded diagram is on page 3.

Hi fynrfin,

I was a little bit confused when you are writing DSB Litra E. A 37846 is a DSB N 209.

The dip switches are in the tender.
The upper part of the tender is clicked on, and you will have to pull out in the two sides below, to be able to lift of the upper part.

As I remember the locomotive was delevered with address MM 50.

I have changed the original decoder in my 37846 to a new one with sound.
