Brand new engine from marklin but no icon on CS3 - Marklin 38445 image not showing up on CS3

Joined: 24/07/2022(UTC) Posts: 25 Location: New York, Saratoga Springs		I just purchased a new engine, Marklin 38445 Limited Pennsylvania loco. I have a temporary simple oval layout connected to my Central Station 3 just to run my engines for now and the CS3 has been updated to software version 2.5.2 which I believe is the most current. My question is, when I placed the new engine on my track, the CS3 discovers it but it only shows several question marks for its icon. It says the name of the engine has its functions...but no icon. Is there a way to rectify this? Shouldnt new engines be updated in its database? Peter

Joined: 05/09/2014(UTC) Posts: 674 Location: NEW HAMPSHIRE, Somersworth		The latest update is something like 2.5.2(6). It is possible that your icon file does not include a new loco. You can update but if it is not in the most recent update you can either wait for the next update, upload the picture of the loco, or enter the engine type and load a similar icon. If you click on the picture with the question marks it will bring up a screen where you can enter the engine type.

Joined: 10/02/2021(UTC) Posts: 3,865 Location: Michigan, Troy		Yes, and you can also use an icon from the current database which is the same loco, and colors but is a different road number or version. I have done so for non mfx models. When Marklin sends the next loco icon update, you can change it then. Sorry if I sound redundant to rhfil.
