I was trying to think of some models that Maerklin could still bring out... (Swiss prototype):

1) Re 420 Cargo. So far, they have done a few Re 421, but we have not yet seen a Re 420 in Cargo colours.
2) Re 4/4III (430). There has not been a Maerklin model of this variant of the Re 4/4 (green, red or cargo)
3) Re 4/4II with single pantograph. They did this in Z for 2024, so why not HO for 2025/26?
4) Re 4/4III (42-44) of the SOB
5) Re 6/6 in green or red (Specifically for the period 1999-2003) when only a handful belonged to passenger division
6) Stadler KISS. This trainset was previously made by Liliput, but there are a whole bunch of possibilities (SBB, BLS, DB, Westbahn, etc).
7) RBDe NPZ/560 This trainset could be sold in a 3-4 car set
8) EWIV AS (First class Service coach)
9) SBB EC Coaches in 1/93
10) Hupac container cars (various designs) with 23 foot tank cars, 30 foot containers and/or 45 foot containers. So far, most Maerklin models have had 20 or 40 foot loads.
Most loads seen on the Gotthard/Loetschberg routes have 45 rather than 40 foot containers. There were Samskip, Geest and other models for Maerklin NL a decade ago, but no Swiss models to date
11) A Reissue of the 46331 Weiacher Kies Gravel hoppers in 1970s version to go with the Be 6/8 Crocodiles or Ae 6/6 locomotives
