Problems with S88 link and CS3
Hello, does anyone recognize this problem. When shutting down the CS3 the power went out. Since then I have problems with the feedback modules. I have a CS3 with a S88 link with on bus 1 3 modules S88 and on bus 2 2 modules S 88 from marklin nr 60881. The individual S88 all work, but in conjunction it no longer works. If a feedback indicator of one module turns on then the feedback indicator of the other module goes into failure. I have reset the CS3 and cleared the s88 link and placed the S88 modules in other places. Also tested the cables swapped and partially replaced them. Nothing helps.
Does anyone have a solution?

Hi (a first name would be just great)
Welcome to this great forum.
Here a Märklinist with a CS3 (60226) a Link88 (60883) and quite a number of 60881 and a few 6088 / 60880 on bus 3.

The link88 is powered by a 60360 Märklin plugged on the same outlet strip as the CS3 PSU (60101 in my case), so all is turned ON at the same time.

On the CS3, you must declare the "length" of each Bus (1, 2 and 3) that is the number of 16 entries bow (M88) that you have
Here is an example on my layout
CS3 Link88 settings.png.

You must also connect in ONE place only the 0 digital output (brown) with any but only ONE of the upside-down T on any 88 module (60883, 60881)
Last, on your Link88 (60883) you must select 12 V ONLY if you deal with recent Märklin modules (60881) and 5 V otherwise

Failure to connect the ground of your digital system with the ground of the 88 system will leave all the inputs in a floating state (blinking, not working)

Now, this all you MUST do prior to any use.

I am not sure to understand when you write " The individual S88 all work, but in conjunction it no longer works."

Cheers
Jean
