Hello All,

I've recently installed DSD2010 systems (Digital Turntable Control) from Digital-Bahn on my two Marklin 7286 turntables. The DSD2010 systems interface very nicely with TC (RailRoad & Co. TrainController) software. The reason for doing this was to automate turntable control as well as add sound and more precise track positioning. Because the original Marklin/Fleischmann motors are very noisy (grinding) and somewhat unreliable, I changed these motors to sb-Modellbau motors. What a difference this made -- smooth as silk.

Of interest is the fact that the sb-Modellbau motors draw very little current when operating, hence I had some problems in setting correct operational parameters in the DSD2010 software. I turned to the Digital-Bahn Forum and was very impressed with the help I received from the system developer, Sven Brandt. The Forum is in German, but translation programs work wonders and make it easy to communicate. These days, it's not often that we receive such attention and great support from manufacturers.

Disclaimer: I have no personal nor financial interests with either company -- just giving praise where praise is due!
