First of all thanks for joining us.
One possibility to your problem is to use slim C track turn-outs.
Another is to use a short S-shaped track to get narrow like this

This is not very prototypical

So there is a last method which is surgery
Using a Dremel or Proxxon hand tool and a diamond cutting disk, I shortened a deviation track and added a shortened curve to keep the C Track ending.
Here it is at first cut without any adjustment or trimming



When finished it looks like this

Notes:
- the big advantage is you can do whatever geometry you wish
- doing this on a 3 way turnout makes things a bit more complicated but start using old, broken C track pieces to get you used to surgery.
- on the 3 wayturnout I had to keep the anchoring of the driving solenoid hence the funny rail cut
