While searching for catenary for turntable i cam across this post in the forum.

now most of the links that are in the post are no longer valid. Though i did go to the sommerfedlt site and searched for spider and found this.

Now i cant find the video referred to in the post. Also i have the following question


1) Is this compatible with the old marklin catenary system that was used in the 1900s. If not then has anyone tried to use it and then make some modifications so that it becomes compatible.

2) The kit from Sommerfildt say it can fit turntable with outer dia of up to 31 cm. The marklin turntable 74862 seems to have a much larger diameter. as the diameter is 378mm with one track one opposite ends. Has anyone used this kit with thee turntable.

Though the other thing i am interested in is the 72941 transfer table as someone is selling theirs for really cheap as they have used it. Now i know the old 7294 (sold in the 90's) had the 7295 catenary kit for it. Now my question is

3) Is the 7295 kit still compatible with the transfer table 72941 or not.

4) if 3 is no. Then is there a kit for the 72941 transfer table. Also is this new kit compatible with the old 1900s catenary.

Well thank you for that . I have only the old style of catenary (the one that is from the 1900s). This is because most of what i had was bought by my father in the 1980's
