Differences between Märklin starter sets 29243 and 29244 - 29243 released 2022, 29244 at 2023. Is there any differences in the digital functions of the locos?

Except the obvious differences between the truck amound that every set offers and the smoker already installed for the 29244 set, is there any difference in the locos, especially in the digital functions or in the mobile station they offer? I would buy the 29243 (if available) purely on the basis of the extra track IF the prices were similar.
