The 1999 catalog I was looking at shows "C, M and K" track in their pages. My question is: Is M track still being made?

Dropping from 2001/2002 catalogue.

Marklin write a note 'Farewell M track'.

'In the 66 years of its productiom it became a synonym for the Marklin system; M Track.
it came out on the market in 1935 as a track system for the new OO scale, Later HO.
In the beginning the center conductor was a continuous third rail, In 1935 it was located
under the roadbed so thst only the stud contacts protruded up through the ties, which improved
the appearance of the track considerably.
Since then M Track has remained practically unchanged, because the Marklin HO System could be
used without changes thanks th its simple setup and high level of reliability.

C Track has taken over these principles and brought to the current level of technology. It is superior
to its predecessor in every respect, visually, practically and operationally.
There is now no reason left for two track systems with roadbed - the production of M Track has ended in 2001.
Anyone wanting to expend his M Track layout with original M Track will still find much of it available from authorized dealers.
After the remaining inventory is used up, there will be no possibility of delivering more.
Adapter tracks are available to connect M Track layouts to the moderm C Track system'.
