Hi All

I have now moved to Madeira for my retirement and am starting the construction of a large layout based on the Lotchberg.
I am serarching for fellow marklinists in Maderia, to share expierences and support.

I know the Portuguese island of Madeira, but I didn't know there was an island called Maderia.

There is no MRR shop on Madeira island, but there are "unrelated" hobby shops in Funchal, e.g. Afonso Modelismo (inter alia model ships) and Cubos Luminosos (kid toys). Searching the internet for keywords as "loja modelismo" or "commercio modelismo" might yield further results. You could approach the shopkeepers and enquire about model railroaders in the vicinity.

Re; God's waiting room is also used in Florida. My aunt lived in Lady lake and you heard an ambulance about every 10 minutes.
She had still been driving and her car had dents from hitting mail boxes.
