I have spent several days with my locomotive open, trying to find out what could be happening to my LGB 23945 (V220) locomotive.
The symptoms: only the lights work and these are switched correctly with the function keys, this with the locomotive switch in position 3 (in this locomotive positions 1 to 3 activate everything and only position 0 turns it off completely).
Motors, sound and pulsed smoke generators have stopped working.
During these days I have carried out tests and tried to reset its decoder using the CV8 with a value of 8, but it only changes the value of the CV1 which returns it to 3.
I do not know the operation and connection of the mfx and the board interconnected to it, although I do identify the rest of the wiring with certainty. I know that mfx is coded in the factory exclusively for each locomotive reference and, on the other hand, I have the security of Märklín's support for repairs, but.....you know as I do that our hobby involves curiosity and research and trying to solve the problems that arise, before "pulling the parachute release ring".
I have gone around the Internet a few times, without success.
In fact, in the locomotive's parts list and spare parts identification, in its own manual, there is no data on the electronic boards.
Do you have any idea or contribution that can help me?
