Hi to all the community, I purchased a Marklin H0 startup kit (this one: https://www.marklin.fr/p...3a6392c22ba02ad3a74d067) for my son for Christmas. He likes it very much and often mentions he would like the following for his birthday which is coming soon: - Another engine, high-speed train if possible - Additional railways I am getting totally lost in the product offering, and have a quite limited budget. As far as I got things together in my mind: - Railways is H0/C type, there are extension sets available, it's ok. - Additional engine: I need this to be compatible with the "4 possible channels" setup that Marklin is using. I am still not familiar with which product will run on this, I understand there is a centre track and it is AC voltage, but then I am lost and can't afford a 500€+ spending on a new train unfortunately... I also saw this as a possibility: https://www.modellbahnsh...92/fr/modell_256305.htmlBut If I buy this will the old engine be compatible? Well, again, thanks for providing me some additional inputs on this, I appreciate :) Regards,

I have seem it discussed in the forum, so the information exist ;-) Anyways, the MS2 controller in the ICE set is excellent, and can control many trains and functions, including the existing one. -Even simultaniously. |

Thanks to both of you for the very quick reply.
Perfect! Just one additional question for you: any chance the speed of the ICE is actually "higher" than the existing engine we already have?
Thanks
