Need help in identifying this french SNCF loco in the music video with link below. The close-up of this loco is at 0:20 sec.
The Marklin 3038 is close to this one, but it does not have the red rear lights. The loco in this video has red rear lights.
Has Marklin made this one before? Would like to know the catalog number. Beginning to like it a lot.

It is a SNCF Class BB 25200

There was a a few SNCF locomotives that look similar but they are different classes and different locos. The one made by Marklin is similar but different.

So this is the BB 25236

https://www.patrimoine-ferroviaire.fr/sncf-electrique-bb-25236/

"The only electric BB from the large Jacquemin series to still be in original condition,
with its aluminum whiskers and hubcaps, fairings, corner skirts, etc.
Formerly in service within the SNCF Radiated Equipment Unit,
this machine was assigned to the transfer of equipment destined for destruction or delivered to preservation associations.
It also occasionally hauled special trains such as the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express."

This locomotive from the BB 25200 series can operate under two catenary Voltages:

  • 25 kV 50 Hz AC

  • 1.5 kV DC

our Märklin 3038 is the BB9223 from the BB9200 series can only operate under 1.5 kV DC catenary voltage.

Roco had a model of the 25000 Series under the model number 43566. I believe there were a handful of alternate numbers. I don't think this ever came out in an AC version.
There may have been additional versions released as special editions by Regain Galore, which was Roco's French distributor in the 1990s.

Further variants in the "Savoie" and "Baton" liveries were released between 2003 and 2005 according to HFKern's website

See here (French): https://www.petits-train.../roco/les-jacquemin.html

it seems that the BB25200 are under study at REE-Modeles,
with an AC sound version planned, and with functional pantographs.

They have already produced the different versions of the BB 9200 and BB16000,
Also in 3rails AC, But I don't know their behavior and their reliability.

here is a demonstration of the BB16000 analog DC from a French model magazine :
