For Christmas surprises I received a new 39978 rail motor set and an old analog 2858 set, dating from around 1985 I think, but boxed and unused.

To use the older set on my layout I converted the loco to digital as mentioned a few weeks ago. That left 4 coaches with old style couplers and no NEM sockets.
I 3D printed some adapters and have provided them here in case they are useful to anyone. I've called these type A.

No close coupling mechanism with these coaches.

While I was doing that I also revisited the adapters I made to suit a lot of the startup range, 4410, 4473 etc. I've called these type B.

Also, as a random bonus item, here's a small water tank that was happening at the same time. 100x85x50mm.
