Joined: 04/01/2024(UTC) Posts: 4 Location: Stockholm		I have the first version of the digital mobile station, which i recently unpacked after having been stored for many years. I am planning to buy some more trains for it, and i wonder what trains are compatible with the digital mobile station 1 and how i could add trains to the system

Joined: 18/02/2008(UTC) Posts: 1,265		Hello, Welcome to the forum! If you search in Youtube for "Märklin mobile station 1" you will get several videos, although most are in German language. You can use autotranslation to english or to Swedish. Basiccally you can use locomotives that have decoders supporting the Märklin Motorola formats or mfx. In mfx you are limited to not use all the functions as the current mfx locomotives support. I think the maximum number of functions the MS1 supports is 8, but not sure. These plus F0 (usually turn on/off lights). Miguel
