Joined: 26/11/2023(UTC) Posts: 25 Location: England, Stafford		I am in the UK(midlands area),and have tried to find some fairly local Model clubs where members have an interest in Z gauge ... Most are of course OO gauge,and seem to consider Z too small . We know that Marklin products are well engineered and thought out Obviously choice is limited to German or some American stock,so I suppose this is one reason. Yet to find a Club where there is Z gauge interest.......

Joined: 15/09/2014(UTC) Posts: 653 Location: London		Rather than finding a club in the UK that is interested in Z scale (I certainly don't know of any), you'd probably have better luck in finding individual modellers near you who are interested in this scale and then meeting up with them. Carim

Joined: 20/02/2017(UTC) Posts: 281 Location: Flanders!		There certainly is a Z movement in the UK. Before brexit I bought a fair bit of trains/wagons there. Of course all Marklin, AZL or Rokuhan. But as mentioned, perhaps better to start something small :)

Yeah, they have been done non-professionally I think, the ones I saw. It can't be easy to do a white metal casting that is to scale onto an existing chassis. It is probably an area that Marklin could make some inroads into, having started with the H0 Flying Scotsman.
