Hallo,
I need to change the roof on 3131.The reason is missing back horn, the one close to the screw, which easily brakes when unscrewing the roof. Otherwise, the roof is perfect. The only available roof 216400 is silver colored.
The roof on 3131 is described as deep gray/anthracite ( ``ein dunkelgraues/anthrazit farbenes Dach``).

RAL 7016 is described as anthracite, but I am not sure if this is the same color as original 3131 roof (images of RAL colors differ a bit from real colors).

My questions:
1.Shall I attempt to change the roof at all because of this minor flaw ? It is my tormenting perfectionism, not being able to forget missing horn and spoiling the pleasure (must be a neurotic overreaction).
2.Shall I use RAL 7016 or other RAL ? Btw. next in the spectrum, 7021 is almost black, 7015 is too light gray.
3.What kind of commercial spray is suggested (water based, acrylic...) ? (Btw. I cannot work with air brush !).
4.If I decide to paint the roof, shall I remove silver color first ?

Thank you for your patience and kind attention.

Gave up searching for adequate color; it is not any RAL because Marklin used their own colors that do not match any RAL. Thanks for watching, anyway.
