hi all,

i can find several youtube videos whjere they show how to set a signal red after train passes, with an M84 and a 24994 commute track. however i cannot find any example of setting using non-dumb signals, meaning the ones with incorporated decoder like the 7649x ones. Is it possibile to set signal redafter train passes with those signals (and a mobile station 2) ? thanks

Fab

Hi Fab

With a MS2, you cannot detect a train position and recent signals understand only digital (e.g.: 70391) so you must use signal from other brands and contact tracks
Another way is, using a CS3 (or CS2) and occupancy detection to set an "intelligent signal" using events (CS3 parlance) ,or memory (CS2 parlance)
One video is this

Cheers

hi all and thanks for the reply,

yes i saw the model for fun tutorial, but that is just for dumb signals without decoder. i thought that there was a way to make the intelligent signals, like the 7496x series, to trigger red/brown from the commute track binary wire in some way....
