Joined: 11/09/2023(UTC) Posts: 8 Location: Oporto		Hi Every One. My Marklin 74 35740 almost in fire. I left the loco at 0 velocity and the CS was on for one night. The day after, the decoder was melted. I can't find the part number. Does anyone know and where to buy cheap? Thanks!

Joined: 05/08/2023(UTC) Posts: 28 Location: Portugal		Ave André, bem grande azar ... first this BR 74 it is like the Märklin Number 36740. The Spare part number of the decoder is E358651 (€ 55.50 Info from Märklin Spare parts list at märklin.de), but bad news it is not available at all ... also other models of the "Startpackung" no luck so far ... but by the look at it some plastic from the light distribution has also melted and the part where you stick the decoder is also looking bad and new wiring ... Sorry to say, but by the look of it all, I think it is cheaper to buy a new/used one at ebay ... That if you are handy and manage to replace it yourself with another decoder like ESU, Ulhenbrock or tams .... still about € 40 Sorry for the bad news this week ... Luma
