I recently bought a jahre berlin 750 electric loco with pantograph without any manuals. It shall be of great help if anyone could advise me whether the pantographs are manually operated or can be operated electronically too. I had opened the loco to clean and lubricate where i saw a steel strip joining both pantographs which are in contact with the motor so im unsure now if anyone has the manual gor it could you please share. Thanks in advance..

The pantographs can be raised and lowered manually, but they are not motorized.

I assume we are talking about set 3600.

I don't have that set, but 3100 is analogue without any spectacular digital functions.
With those old locos, any manual for analogue BR E 04, BR 03, and BR 86 will do.

The E 04 can be used with power from catenary, that's the purpose of the metal strip.
