Hi everyone, I am after the paint colour used that will match the new older style catenary ( hope that makes sense!) The newer catenary (eg 70360) now comes unpainted but the older 70360 did come as a painted black/ bronze colour. Since I ran short of the older painted variety and ordered more , I now need to paint the unpainted version to match the already installed older version . Does anyone know the name of the colour Marklin used?
Many thanks
Steve

The name of the color might not do you any good without knowing the manufacturer. If you can bring enough of the older catenary to a decent paint store they should be able to mix up a batch of paint to match it. The problem would be the sample size. Some might even be able to give you a spray.

Conductivity may factor in here. If so, the best option I've seen is neolube. It isn't permanent, but thats a good thing:

It would not be an issue if the catenary is only for looks and not power.
