Hello,

I know there were topics where the subject was the new items wishes, but as I am not finding them, I created this one.
It is ok if the forum moderators want to change or add this post to one of those topics.
So, below are my current whishes about new items:

1- LNER A4 Mallard and/or "Sir Nigel Gresley" in the current blue it is now (is it Express blue?)
2- Erie Triplex
3- New York Central Hudson Dreyfuss 4-6-4 (or 232, if you prefer) in grey paint scheme

I also would like others, but the ones above are my top preferences and I don't have infinite time, so these would be ok.
The Northlander is waiting decision until new items announcement. It is also at the top of preferences.
I am not thinking much about the Shay, although the liveries I saw in BLI seem to look very good!

Coaches:
1- Set for the FS in wood color or cream/red
2- Set for the Albatroz (5 coaches would be ok)
Sets for the Triplex and NYC Hudson above, only are of interest after the locomotive.

Miguel
Best regards,
Miguel
Mostly Märklin H0.

I don't think they will do an A4 in 2024, unless they do it as a surprise loco - which could be a possibility, but i think it will be a bit soon. I think they will do at least one more version of the Flying Scotsman before doing the A4.

I won't be surprised if the Toy Fair loco is a version of the Flying Scotsman. This may also initiate a suitable coach set. If not I won't be surprised to see a coach set in the New Items , maybe not in the first lot, but Summer or Fall more likely I think.

For a set of Albatross coaches maybe this Roco set ...

I would like R4/5 curved turnouts in K tract, and servo motors for the k track turnouts.

My speculation:
About the Toy Fair locomotive sometimes I think will be a Flying Scotsman in Express Blue livery.
An alternative could be a BR 18201 also in a blue livery, but less probable I guess.

Thanks for the suggestion of the coaches set. I wait a bit more to see if Märklin release one. If not, I will go to other, which maybe the one you suggest as it is a very nice one.

I run the Albatross with a bunch of Piko CSD coaches, it looks very nice.
A proper set of coaches for the Flying Scotsman would be nice.....

Kinda corny, but as I am very to near my golden years, a 1/87 kit of the Marklin building in Goppingen would be nice to look at with a static train display if I ever find myself immobile, or just too decrepit to run trains.
Other than that, and I have plenty of Locos and rolling stock, but a br 218 with a powered fan like the V320.

Marklin did do a laser cut card kit some years ago, it might have been for the 150 years of Marklin, which would make it 13 years ago I think.

My prediction will be a G1 Flying Scotsman.

I don't think we should expect much from Märklin regarding K tracks.

They would rather spend the money on tools for a new locomotive instead of new track material!

Regarding the servo motor I have for a few years used servos from MTB, which work fine also with digital control with CS3 via the Lenz LS150.

There have been several detours to get to where I am satisfied, so if you want an explanation, write...

Yes for me, I still have old 3024 green in red box.

I hope Marklin still have tooling of old 3024.
