I am upgrading my 3071 TEE and would like to insert some interior detail in the centre and last car along with lighting.
Was this model released later with interior detail? If not would some one know what could be inserted.
I know the Northlander appears to be the same but it does not appear to have interior detail and I could not find it on the Marklin technical page to check.
Apreciate any ideas or tips.

Look at the spareparts list from 39700 on the M site. Here you will find the parts you need. They all fit with a little work.
(number 497220 is wrong in the sheet,this should be 497020)

I ordered the parts from my Marklin dealer, installed the seats as he shows. It was an easy conversion and the result is well worth it!
