I just upgraded the 37990 Big Boy to Loksound. Everything works great except the headlight.

Does anyone know how to replace the bulb and what type to use?

Thank you.

Can't see much on the parts diagram but just a thought if you have a Lokprogrammer check to see if the headlight box "On" is ticked in forward direction. Failing that if the light was working before the conversion I can only mention to recheck your wiring carefully. The low-mounted headlight on the front pilot is LED powered and authentically fades in/out by pressing F0. Below the headlight is a stand-up UP shield with 4014 on it.

This is not a bulb but a yellow LED
I suspect, the PCB around the Smoke units contacts bears the LEDs in question.
Chances are, you have a broken wire because I never saw a faulty LED of this generation.
The lower illumination is made by a lower PCB number 67 on the exploded view referenced 216931

The wires of some newer models with several sound functions are very thin. The front headlight on my newer br 38 doesn't work either.
