Did Marklin do a model of the BR58/G12 class before they moved away from the drives that had gears on every driven axle? While a bit more noisy, they take the driven load off the side rods like on the newest models and one reason I like the older Marklin 2-10-0 or 2-10-2 drives. But I dont think, that I know of, that Marking did a model of the class 58 till more modern times.

Short answer is No they did not. It’s a new tooling model only
