Firstly, the CS1.

I think it is supposed to show two rows of icons each side relating to the loco selected.
I'm only seeing one row of icons and I think two of my locos should have more (the locos
are the 460 and Ae6/6 from the set 29851).

How do I see the second row of icons?

Secondly, connecting to a pc.
I have a LAN cable plugged into the network port on the CS1 with the other end into my router.
I have entered the IP address (192.168.0.1 - given by the router) into the CS1.

Now what do I need to do?

See, stupid questions, no doubt easily solved but only if you know. Which I don't.
Any help please?

You should set the cs1 to DHCP mode and see what address the router provides for it. The above address sounds like the address for the router itself. There are also a number of other fields that need to be filled in, and the router will automatically provide those in DHCP mode.

If you don't want to keep the cs1 in DHCP mode, then check your router to see what address range it has set up for DHCP, and assign an address outside that range (only the last decimal field needs changing to something between the top of the DHCP address range and 254 (255 is a special address IIRC) and that doesn't clash with any other devices). The other fields should contain the same values as filled in under DHCP.

Once you have that sorted you should then be able to access the web page on the cs1 by entering the IP address into your web browser on the PC.

I went to DHCP mode, ticked the box, screen blanked out for a second, then it was back to the main operating screen.
Went back into the settings and everything was 0.0.0.0 ???

Update :

Reading another topic on here re the CS3, I tried what was suggested and it worked.
With the LAN connected, fire up the CS1 from cold.
IP address was present. Unticked the 'Auto' button and saved.

Now what do I do?
