Thank you for all your help on this forum. I am finally in my new house and can build a 320 cm x 140 cm layout. I have 2 layouts I like: 1. 350 x 140 layout. I think I can shorten it without the grades becoming too extreme. I like how it runs and the separate level parade tracks. MM_0512_Download - 350x140.pdf (7,608kb) downloaded 127 time(s).2. 300 x 120 layout. I would expand it to 320 x 140 by using a R5/R4 curve on the right side. I like the switching options by the station but feels like it is lacking in shadow station capacity, but perhaps a little simpler to build than the one above. Also I think the one above is better for running but can't get a good sense. thanks!

Even with width of 120cm yuo will be stressed to access parts of the layout. If 140cm I assume impossible. My layout is approx same length, but width of 190cm… I have made two Hatches in it to be able to crawl underneath the layout and rise to perform work or help stranded trains. Also the whole thing is mounted on 6 legs with weels so I can pull it away from the walls to access all sides. Something to consider, and probably Yoy allready have… Finally to me Your layout proposal seems to have much visible tracks and little space left for scenery. But of course only my opinion. If you like the switching possibilities it might be perfect for Your preferences. Regards Thor
