Morning All,

Just wandering if there is a Colorado Z-scale fun club, group etc? European Train Enthusiasts has an Intermountain Chapter (https://www.ete.org/intermountain) but I haven't seen any activity since 2018.

Thanks,

Paul

Paul, I would email Mike or Frank as the national chapter pages sometimes arent updated that frequently. BigGrin The are still around and from what I know attending trains shows. I am in the Pacific Northwest Chapter and if they are like us, we have folks in our group in all scales.

Paul,

I just stumbled across this question today. There is a "loose confederation" of Z-Scale enthusiasts. Check out this link: https://groups.io/g/coloradoz Easy to join as we have no dues and very few dont's Cool !

We have modular layout members involved with Z-Bend and T-TRAK-Z. Some portable layouts and some home layouts. Check us out. Also, we display at most of the train shows in the Northern Colorado area including Rails in the Rockies (Estes Park 9/23-24), Rocky Mountain Train Shows (November 2023 - Loveland and April 2024 - Denver), Rocks and Rails in Longmont (December 2023), and TECO in Colorado Springs.

I'm not a member as I live on Sydney Northern Beaches, but I heard a great line on a recent TV interview. The reporter ask the handful of 75 - 90 years olds who swim 365. 'What are the requirements to become a member of the Icebergs'. Answer 'As long as you are breathing!' They fill the pool in mid winter with a truckload of ice to see which generation has the stamina.
