My question here ( https://www.marklin-user...ew-Items-2023#post656093 ) about two weeks ago has meanwhile disappeared in the dephts of the forum, so please allow me to repeat it in a separate topic: Has anyone in the U.S. already received this recent model and can confirm or negate the presence of a "Made in China" sticker on the box? Thanks for any observations.

Could be, but quite likely Hungary.

It seems to me that this model has not yet been directly imported by a Marklin dealer or Ebay merchant located in the U.S. I draw this conclusion from the fact that not a single one of the models currently on sale on www.ebay.com is advertised by a seller located in the U.S.; all of them are based in Europe. https://www.ebay.com/sch...rklin+39360&_sacat=0This makes the determination of the birthplace of this object rather difficult. Strange, I stood under the impression that models of Swiss prototypes were quite popular in the States.
