Does any one have the operating instructions for the Marklin HO Rhinegold wagon set Marklin # 4228
and any other literature on this set. I have bought one set on e bay hence the request.

What do you need to know? They are just wagons with lights. There is no manual download from Marklin webpage.
The set uses special shorter drawbars with current conducting tabs for connecting the wagons at the right distance and providing power to each other.
Hopefully the correct drawbars were included with the set you bought.
I don't own the set but I did own the 42281 which was the same wagons repainted for 1950's F-train Gluckauf. |

Thanks for the clarification, I will now start using the Rhinegold set .I wAs only a little cautious as no Marklin service or parts available in India.
