Using MS2 to control Brawa LOK with Brawa Premium-Digitaldecoder version 3.0

I purchased a new Brawa model 40455 (AC version) and while the Lok lights operate and the train runs forward and reverse, those are the only two functions that operate. No engine sound etc. it should have about 11 sound functions. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get those operating with the mobile station 2? Thank you.

Welcome Johnny! Most functions should operate for you. I get 4 on my old 6021 with a Zimo dccc Loco. You have lights and motion, so that's a good sign. I saw a youtube video by Modeltrainfun on this. Have a look at it. He's good with the MS2 and CS3. Did you change the mode of operation protocall on your MS2 to DCC? Also, on occasion, powering down and re starting the controller helps.

Ok, thanks to all who replied. At least I have lights and movement. Purchased it thinking there was more sound and the manual says it has seven functions but that may not be for my version.

A search over the web reveals that 40455 was without sound and 40457 with. Open your tender, you will find thé space for an old round speaker, but no speaker at all. Regards |
