What is the recommended way to get multiple electrical connections between rolling stock? I see there are current carrying couplers for simple connections but what if you want 4 or 6 connections?

I've found a way to get a few wires across but the solution has many issues, particularly fixed coupling. There must be a better way.

This is what I tried for those who might be interested.

First - slung under a 3D printed drawbar. Can get two 1.0mm wires across or up to twelve tiny decoder wires.

Second - through the centre of the drawbar. Can get one 1.0mm wire or 4 decoder wires easy - 6 decoder wires with much patience and some swearing.

Kudos for the coupler design, that will clearly be useful.

For more flexibility I went with ESU's couplers, for a two-wire connection: https://www.esu.eu/en/pr...urrent-carrying-coupler/
