I am not sure whether other manufacturers have ever produced something like this, but I think it is an excellent idea for simulating a wreck on the layout (together with a crane and a maintenance crew):

Sure, the price is rather steep, but I guess it took quite some time to make the van look realistic.

That's one I've not seen either. Price too steep. A decent fine scale modelr could make one of wood, or you can melt the plastic roof with a heat gun, or small torch, and cut the sides up a bit.

I think it is Joswood that have had models of plank sided wagons with boards missing in their laser cut range, but nothing that I recall would match a 'shunting accident' damage.
