The metal body acts like a bell and the motor vibrates inside. I think someone suggersted packing the metal shell with foam. How do you find your model. Regarding coaches I think the M set 43258 would look good. David
		Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer.

It is true that the lok is rather noisy and I might end up trying to do something to reduce the level. For now I am just very happy with the new train I have heard that there is no room for a smoke generator but would very much like to hear if anyone have succeeded in fitting one to the lok. //Thomas

I got that set from 48VW on ebay - it was on clearance sale for a pretty good price. But there are only two coaches in the set. Obviously would need or want a few more coaches for a set.
