Hello, a friend of mine is encountering a problem at updating his Märklin Central Station 1. Here's what's going on: - It is about an original Marklin CS1, so without ESU Reloaded update
- The CS1 has the hardware update, so with S88 connection
- The software version was 2.0.3
- The official update to 2.0.4 has gone wrong
- If the CS1 is now started without a network connection, you will receive an English message that no network is available
- If the CS1 is now started with a network connection, you will receive an English message with the ip address
- Subsequently, however, the CS1 cannot be pinged and reached via the web browser
- All kinds of key combinations known for the CS1 Reloaded to perform a reset do not work
- Similar problems (same message) for the CS1R can be solved via the CS1R Rescue mode
See e.g. this topic on the ESU forum
- It is not known how to get into Rescue mode on the CS1
See the photo what the CS displays now. Is there anyone who knows how to solve this? |

Does your friend are member of the ESU forum and signed ID of the Central station Reloaded? Not sure if this kind of rule are same about Ecos? It seems your friend can´t use his own IP adress to connect CS1 reloaded to the ESU linkpage. |

We put the question already on the ESU forum. Some response but not solutions yet. The tricks for Reloaded/Ecos does not work for his not-reloaded CS1 as I wrote in my first post |
