Perhaps my grandchildren can enjoy high-speed rail traffic across the continent. (I am uncertain whether the link works without a subscription, I beg your pardon if it doesn't.)

The link works, but the article is behind a paywall so you can't read all of it. But there are numerous ways around paywalls, a google search will give some tips - not that I'm encouraging nefarious behaviour of course

In the Colonies, We have a sum total of NOTHING BUT NOTHING! 1/2 of our republic does not recognize rail transportation as being the green of our future. Regards, gene
