mfx+ does it also work on DCC - i have a loco that only states mfx+ but does it also work with DCC?

Joined: 12/11/2018(UTC) Posts: 11 Location: brugge		Hallo I have a 37929 class 41 loco that i would like to use on a DCC layout, now it does not state on the box that i could use DCC but i have heard that it might be possible? could any clarefy if this would work?

Joined: 04/02/2011(UTC) Posts: 3,130 Location: Paris, France		Hi Cheshy (a first name would be great) Looking on the Märklin database, you loco understands MFX and MM2 protocols but not DCC. So either you use a multi-protocol CS like a CS2 or CS3 or you change the build-in decoder by a multi-mode one like the Märklin mSD3 60975 with steam loco sounds. Cheers Jean

Joined: 16/02/2004(UTC) Posts: 15,267 Location: DE-NW		Hi! Some locos had NMRA DCC as an undocumented feature. Try DCC on a non-mfx controller and see if the loco reacts to address 3.
