Joined: 21/09/2012(UTC) Posts: 1,729 Location: Toronto		Hello, everyone. Can the software of an MS1 be updated to include DCC control? If so, can an MS2 do it (upgrade the MS1, that is)? Thanks.

Joined: 16/02/2004(UTC) Posts: 15,267 Location: DE-NW		Hi! The Trix MS1 always includes NMRA DCC. The Märklin MS1 cannot be updated to NMRA DCC. It can control NMRA DCC trains when connected to a Central Station or ECoS. The Central Station 1 and the ECoS can update the Märklin MS1. Märklin MS1 controlling an NMRA DCC loco: (connected to a Central Station 60212 reloaded)

Separate programming track or test track. Christmas tree layout. Extra controller once you get a Central Station. When mfx locos won't register, it is always good to have a second mfx controller - sometimes that'll revive them.
