Hi all,
Hattons at Widnes near Liverpool have listed close to 100 Z scale items in the pre-owned category.
The bulk of this list is rolling stock, but there are about 6 or so locomotives.
The latest (today) are shown here Pre-owned

Scroll down the list till you get to items with a light green background.

Hi Ranjit,
Why would you take such a negative tone?
Particularly when you offer no explanation.
Hattons are probably one of the most respected companies who retail model train stuff.
Not an easy business to be in.

I know Hattons have recently sold a huge amount of HO Märklin.
So probably the things that are remaining are what nobody wants (or needs).

regards

There is no doubt that Hattons Model Railways is a respected name, Kimball ! I am sorry if I had sounded disparaging.

But somehow, I find that Hattons focus seems to be more on 'O', 'OO' and 'N' gauge, with a more recent interest in 'z" gauge. Please correct me if my assumption is wrong.

Take care and stay safe.

Cheers,
Ranjit

Hi Ranjit,
Thanks for your reply.

You are correct, much of their focus is on O, OO and N.
That is simply because that is the completely overwhelming model train interest and production in the UK.
Anything else is secondary and the only Märklin HO and Z they sell is what comes to them pre-owned (second-hand).
Hattons are not a Märklin dealer.

Anyway have a lovely day and take care.

regards
Kimball
