It's taken me a long time to build the Toprama 8910 table, but here is my latest video of my layout. Hope you enjoy it!

Thank you,
Barry

outstanding effort and workmanship!

Love the auto switch-on and how the overall view is 'classic' but under the hood is modern.

I think mother Märklin would want to feature this in their magazine.

It was watching your you tube of the restoration that re kick started my building of the later Toporama (8930).
I’d have to go a long way to match your superb effort, I’ll stick to the more traditional method of control.

Hello.

Excellent and very professional results.

Everything is well thought out and has a clean, well organized appearance. I like it, you could do layouts professionally.

That cover will keep it all clean and makes it easy for peering in on your miniature world.

Best wishes

Dwight

In the dealer catalogue 1972 "Shop Window Displays", Märklin also offered the same as a complete factory-built layout #0855 (Schaufensteranlagen)...

Great job on yours, certainly able to hold its own against the 'professional' versions :-)

Very nice! I’ve been meaning to recreate the HO version for some time... your results have definitely provided the inspiration and motivation to begin.

hello Barry, just watched this video and left you a comment on youtube as well. It is an amazing piece of work, on the count of the history behind it but also how you brought it into the modern day. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is amazing. I'm honestly equally amazed and jealous at the same time. I have to say that for our hobby and scale, I do get it - that many people (sometimes myself included) think of z scale as "cute". And then they label it off as a toy, and complain about lack of slow speed, etc. I find this incredibly frustrating. I'd like to thank you and people like you who do work like this to "elevate" our fine scale and show what can be done with it.

P.S. I am absolutely hopeless with electrics and a glance at the bottom of any of my modules with both confirm this and give you nightmares. So again - watching your battery solution, touch-screen, auto-power on/off. Man! What a show-off :) Just kidding. Amazing work. Well done again.

Thank you all for the accolades; it fuels my passion for this hobby! It's been a long development process but I am very proud of the results and I wanted to build all the buildings in videos so others could do the same. I am now going to outfit it with the small details that will bring it to life: The colorful flocking that comes with the buildings and adding trees and landscaping to duplicate the box. Stay tuned for some more videos in the fall. If you are on the east coast of the United States, I will be displaying this layout at the Amherst Railway Society Show at the Springfield Mass The Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds January 29th and 30th. Hope to see some of you there! Barry
