it's somewhere between Memphis Tennessee and Here. Shipped from Texas last week where it was freezing betweem 0f and 10f. Just curious if it could crack from freezing. It's also been abnornmally freezing in Memphis. It was there most of this week until yesterday.

Just guessing but it's possible that the plastic in C tracks will be brittle at low temperatures (when you get a good deal below 32˚F/ 0˚C) so that if the package is manhandled or squeezed during transportation it can break or crack. The brittleness will disappear at "normal" temperature I'm sure.

Thank's for replies! I don't want to freeze what small amount of newer C track I have. The rest is from 2000, and the BASF brittle plastic. Cracks just from clicking together/apart.
Hopefully the shop put packing peanut foam in nthe bigger box, or at least bubble wrap or air pockets.

I am guessing that if there is a problem, you can file a claim with the carrier or check with Guy at AJCKids if that was where it was coming from.

I have had many items, including track delivered in wintertime and have not had any temperature related issues.

Yes Mike, and thank's! Hopefully no damage. Parcel is in Columbus Ohio now. Also has some K track for my Bietschtal bridge.
I have been very happy with AJC kids! Reasonable pricing, and good inventory. Guy also answers e-mail technical questions prompltly. He may also have more clout with a carrier claim than I since they use them constantly.
