The price was nice and I could not resist. It drives nice even with the old 6080 decoder it has. But way to fast this Br. 53 machine is. This type of mallet loc is never been made by the way. The loc drives very nice and smoothly through R1 curves when this is needed.

See the link for pictures.

I will be using this machine a lot on the layout of the modeltrack club. But I still have two set 60760 and this loc will certainly get one.

Great loco.
I have a 3102, analog.
It runs well with the 6080?
I have an early one and also a delta module, i dont know wich one will be better in the loc.

I also have a 3102. I put a 6090x set in it. One of my best runners. Smooth and solid, strong puller.

Of course that the 60901 kit is the must, with a nice LS mfx on it, but since i have no money to buy it now, i have to use the material that i have, an old 6080 and a delta module, wich one might be the best one in your opinion?

I would go with the 6080 myself. I have a few deltas and a few loks with 6080's and I feel that the 6080's run a little better. May be subjective, but just my opinion.

Well, i will install first the 6080 and see it.......
Using NEM sockets make just too easy to swap between decoders....so i will do it that way.....
