Wiring 7209/72090 Distributor Strips to Marklin AC Transformer

Hello,
I have a 16V Marklin AC Analog Transformer. I was wondering how many 7209/72090 distribution strips can be wired to this transformer? Also, is the distribution strip "active" with the transformer turned on by connection to a circuit breaker power strip that is turned on, or does the transformer"s Rotary Control Switch have to be rotated to the right?
Thanks for your assistance on this request for guidance.

It would be beneficial if you told us what you are planning on doing.
The 7209 does not have any isolation so each distribution block is good for only one wire from your transformer output, either the red power wire or the brown common wire or the yellow accessory wire.
You can distribute them around your layout and connect the "reds" to each other directly or with appropriate lengths and sizes of wire and the necessary plugs. The longer the distance the larger the wire gauge should be. Obviously the same applies to the "browns" and the "yellows".
