I have recently converted to the CS3+ and cannot find out how to wire my transfer table digitally.

Any suggestions

Hi Philip
There is this Märklin tip in German https://www.maerklin.de/fileadmi...faq/Technik-Tipp-405.pdf
You have the schematics to use a M84 (basically same as with a K84

So if I have a 7186 and an M84 and follow these schematics I could control it using an ECOS too?

Hi
No it is different (not because of ECOS)
You need 2 SPDTs from M84:
- 1 to commute the Yellow (16 VAC) to either of the red plugs of the 7186 TT for direction
- 1 to bring the yellow to the center black plug of the 7186 to get the solenoid and motor started
Drawback: you need to stop manually the second SPDT to present the solenoid for making noise a long time

Cheers
Jean

I replaced the failed motor of my 7294 transfer table with a 12-24V DC motor. I eventually would like to drive this unit with a digital (k84) decoder, but currently cannot even get the basic analog wiring figured. The table can move up/down when I use red-green wires from the control box by touching two top contact tracks (touching wires), but I am unable to connect the 3 wires from controller to the connection ports (red-green-black) on the unit. Note that the marklin controller gives 16V DC (powered by standard AC transformer), which nicely drives the motor. The wiring stumps me.
Ideas?
Ben

Update
The sliders under the bridge need to be carefully positioned for unit to work. Got regular analog operation to work with replacement $3 DC motor. Much less noisy too. Installation required quite a bit of cutting and shaving to fit. Pleased with fix.
Will look into digital operation later.

Digital M (+ some K) track layout with mostly vintage rolling stock and accessories, and small Z scale layout.
