The instructions show what to do to the bogies to get to the wheels & replace ties, but not how it get them out of the loco.
Must you disassemble the entire loco?
Or is there a tab or screw to removed so you can theme take out of the bogie frame and replace the tires?

Don't know about the specific engine but usually the wheels with axles and all stay in place when you change the rubber tyres. When the sides of the wheels are accessible you should be able to peel off the old tyres with tweezers or a small screwdriver and then carefully slide the new tyres on.

With some manufacturers, unfortunately you have to take the whole bogie apart and I think this is with Piko locos, I know this is very annoying and the designers could have come up with a simpler solution., just make sure the next time you don't get oil near the tyres and they should last longer.

Groan - That was what I was afraid of. Image a car that you must remove the transmission to change a tire - STUPID!
