Anyone ordered this loc?
Is it going to have the latest type of motor or will it be the 5-pole variant?

Runs like an AZL locomotive, very good, slo, maximum speed at maximum power supply setting. |

I collected mine yesterday.
First need to clean my testtrack. Then some testing :)

Small update. Didn't read/post much here since I joined some FB groups. V80...
It IS beautiful. But technical it just doesn't perform. I don't mind it runs slow. However, it runs bad. At first it ran very bad. I almost wanted to return it. The trucks have some kind of spring mechanism. At first it kept derailing. Now it keeps on track..
So it drives slow and with bad electrical pickup!

I just got one of these from ebay. I’ve been trying to run it on my small briefcase 9v battery powered layout.
As parakiet says above it is very very slow, and the pick up is quite poor. It sticks in a few places (my track is spotless!)
Quite disappointed with it.
