Joined: 17/04/2003(UTC) Posts: 996 Location: Netherlands		Hi, I converted the Borsig BR53 and included red tail lights. Somehow it looks odd to see a steam loc with two red tail lights. What were the regulations on tail lights (one, two, none?) for single steam loks driving at night? Best regards, Gregor

Joined: 07/03/2020(UTC) Posts: 29 Location: Grimsby UK		I don’t know about German regulations regarding tail lamps but in the UK tail lamps were required on the rear of the locomotive ( be it coal bunker or tender) but only if the locomotive is running light engine ( ie no train) intermediate tail lamps forbidden

For loc's driving alone there is a simplified tail light Zg4, which is only one red marker light on the right hand side. See below for Roco model featuring this single tail light: When pushing a passenger train, double tail lights Zg3 should be used. More info on www.bahnstatistik.de/ under "Signale"
