Hi all,

I have been paying around with this old style Marklin 5207 crossing.

I wanted these old versions, because of their extra metal bars with switching polarity.
But the Marklin mechanics for switching this polarity is very unreliable, because they are designed to be very light for not slowing or halting the switch.

So, I designed a new type of mechanics to give the same polarity results, without the old style Marklin method.
Using 2 micro switches, I use the motion of the metal slider inside the magnetic coils to press and release the micro switches.

1 microswitch for the blue bar, the other for the red bars.

I removed the old mechanics for changing polarity and rewired the micro switches.
With everything back in place, we have a reliable polarity switching 5207 crossing!
